Clear Pine is a planned community bordering the National Forest yet only steps away from downtown Sisters, Oregon. The original old-growth Ponderosa Pine lumber mill has been long since silent, but its former location is now being transformed into a beautiful new community called ClearPine. It’s namesake is derived from the high quality clear lumber that was produced for several generations, up to the 1960’s, when the mill was closed for good.
