Jesse M. Regional manager and his team at Curtis Homes have been a pleasure to work with. This is our first ever purchase of a new construction home and the high end quality materials and items installed (such as a power wall and solar panels, fancy lighting and fireplaces, on demand water heaters, special counter top surfaces) are all new to us. Jesse and his team patiently answered all our questions, provided list of contacts and material used, helped us get warranties set up, and trouble shoot a few of the new home tweaks even months after the home sale was final. For example we were contacted by Bend water that our water was running continuously. Jesse contacted the people who put in the irrigation and ensured they checked if that was the cause (turns out it was dirt in a sprinkler solenoid which they fixed). We weren’t happy with how a wood fill on our front door had been done and he had the team re-fill it and re-stain and now it looks perfect. He is open to feedback because he understands that as new construction home owners we want it to be perfect. We certainly feel we got there. So excited with our new home and all its thoughtful details like heated bathroom tile and beautiful wood floors. Much appreciate Jesse’s attentiveness to detail and collaboration to get it all just right. I will keep him on speed dial for any future projects.

My company (Guarantee Air Duct Cleaning) is hired regularly by Curtis Homes to clean the construction debris from the HVAC systems in the homes they build. Cole is the project manager with whom I work most closely- absolutely great guy. The fact that he/they care enough about their customers to do something “behind the scenes” like this speaks VOLUMES as to their ethics. Most customers probably don’t even know that Curtis cleans the HVAC systems in their new builds, ensuring a clean and sanitary environment for the new homeowner, they do it because they truly care. If I were to have a new home built, I’d want it built by Curtis Homes, no doubt about it.

We recently had the privilege of working with Thad, Regional Manager for the Columbia Gorge Region of Curtis Homes, on a new home in a development overlooking the Columbia River in The Dalles. We installed the landscaping for the project. Thad shared an extremely detailed landscaping design created by Curtis Homes’ Landscape Architects that explained, even down to the smallest details, what they expect, taking the surrounding environment into account. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and shows they take landscaping seriously. And if they’re this precise on the outside, we don’t even want to know how high their standards must be on the inside. With over 20 years in the industry, we can say Curtis Homes truly stands out. Other contractors agree. We’re happy to work with them!

I’m highly impressed by the commitment Curtis Homes demonstrates in standing behind their product. I had the pleasure of working with their team to build my dream home in The Dalles, Park Place subdivision. When an unusual high wind bent a piece of flashing on my chimney, the Curtis Homes team, creatively solved the problem, even though my home purchase was completed four years earlier! Their excellent customer service and dedication to detail far exceeded my expectations! My home is a beautiful display of quality workmanship and the mountain views are absolutely stunning. My husband and I recently moved into our SECOND Curtis Homes house in the new Talline neighborhood of Bend. We are very happy with our “semi-custom” build! Working with the Curtis Homes team was a positive experience that resulted in a beautiful home to share with friends and family for years to come!
