Curtis Homes is excited to announce the new Gilbert Subdivision in Hood River, Oregon! The new Gilbert Subdivision will connect two amazing neighborhoods (Meadowlark & Indian Cliff) with the newly built Roberts Drive. This new neighborhood is located at the end of Indian Cliff and provides seclusion and privacy with our new cul-de-sac. Curtis Homes is very excited to be building eight homes designed by Muddy River Design of Bend, Oregon. Home construction will begin December 2017. Several homes in the neighborhood will have views of Mt. Adams and/or Mt. Hood. We can’t wait to start construction! Please be on the look out on Facebook and Instagram for progress photos.
Cameron and Emily Curtis are happy to announce that Curtis Homes is expanding to Bend, Oregon! Our home-base and office will remain in Hood River, Oregon where we are currently busy building in the Mountain Vistas community along with developments of our own Goose Way Townhouses Subdivision and Rocky Road Subdivision. In preparation for our expansion into Central Oregon, we are pleased to announce that Jeremy Fields has been added to the Curtis Homes team as our Project Manager. Jeremy has been working closely with our Hood River team and is excited to get started on our first project in Central Oregon which will be the construction of two homes in the NorthWest Crossing Neighborhood in west Bend. These two beautiful homes, designed by Muddy River, will be on the Central Oregon Builders Association (COBA) tour in late July 2017.
Our whole team is excited to grow into a new community, while continuing to invest into the Hood River community we love!
International Building Show2014
Cameron Curtis, owner of Curtis Homes, and Thad Iremonger, Lead Carpenter of Curtis Homes, joined 70,000 other building professionals in Las Vegas last week for the International Building Show. Curtis and Iremonger had the opportunity to meet new vendors, other home builders, as well as, learn about the most innovative products on the market.
Both Curtis and Iremonger, who have 16 years of combined building experience, enjoyed discussing the always evolving green techniques in framing and air-sealing homes with the other building professionals.
Curtis was very excited about brand-new software that will help streamline his customer’s building experience. The software will revolutionize how clients select finishes, schedule walk-throughs and the building process of their new home. It is important to Curtis Homes to offer clients the most cutting edge products available. To learn more, ask either of them about the multi-faceted topics and what they learned.
Lastly, it was wonderful for Curtis to confirm Curtis Homes is currently using advanced products for home building and to see a few new trending ideas that could be incorporated in Curtis Homes’ home building process. See more photos of the IBS Show on our FB page!
The home design was by Alan Macord, Portland, Oregon, plan name the Greenspire (plan 22122). The Greenspire home is 2,500+ square feet: 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath, bonus room, vaulted ceilings. Curtis Homes built the home in a neighborhood in Hood River, Oregon.
There are several features about this home that set it a part from other homes we have built. The home boasts a second-story bridge; spanning over the entry way that provides views to the below living area. Another design element is the barn doors in the home, the doors put some fun in fun-ctional. A great resell feature of this home is the master bedroom is on the ground floor with two bedrooms and bonus room upstairs.
